Things Before and After the Move.....

We moved. And we just had a fun Memorial Day weekend with Cindy. That will get its own post in a day or two, but for now... this is what we've been up the the last few weeks:

I got a new helper for the kitchen....

We went up north for Mother's Day.
We got to spend time with our wonderful mothers! They deserve at least 3 days dedicated to them a year!

See the skunk (by the lattice) ? His name is Eustace. He moved in, and we moved out the next day.

We watched the eclipse!

We're pretty much moved in now, but more to come later this week....after school gets out for the summer....

Hike via Moonlight (EXCLAMATION POINTS)

Billy and Rob came down to Moab for a quick trip! While they were here, we decided to take advantage of the full moon. As you probably already know, Saturday wasn't just Cinco de Mayo, it was the largest full moon for the year 2012.

The nights were staying pretty bright preceding Saturday, so we could tell this was going to be special.

We decided to hike Delicate Arch.

In all of the pictures posted here, the flash was not used. They are grainy, but you can see how bright it actually was, and this was at 11:30pm.

Toward the end, we went through this arch...

....and got this spectacular view!!!

Note: none of these photos have been edited. Cool yeah?

We were expecting the hike to be crowded like it normally is this time of year, but very few people were out. Great! When we got to Delicate Arch, we were the only people there. It. Was. Perfect!

Here were are, admiring our shadows under this majestic landmark.

It was fun spending time with Billy and Rob!! Thanks again guys for coming down! You were our last house guests at our first house in Moab. You (dear readers) should come down and see our new place sometime. Anytime!

Auto Show

It was actually the Car Show, but Auto Show has a fun sound to it.

They came from all around, and parked in a lovely shaded park. In the evening, they left the park and cruised Main Street until about 10:30 at night. It was quite the event and quite congested, but there were a lot of fun cars to see:

This is only a small sample of the pictures we took, and we took pictures of only a small sample of the cars at the show. There were hundreds!!
