When we first moved in, my goal with the living room was to be able to use the "front door" (the door that we never use) and to try and make the tv not the center of the room. So this is what we did:
You can see it was nice and cozy... and a little cluttered... and never felt tidy. This arrangement worked, but it bothered Sean. We decided to try a few other options....
Our first "new" arrangement. It didn't stay long.
Sean was working here. He was making one of his many calls asking about electricity.
The finished product. Look at all of that floor space!!! Look at all of that cartwheel and dance, dance potential!
I think it will be a little more spacious for guests as well. (You should come try it out....)
That same day, we (meaning mostly Sean) decided to take some control of the poor tree in front.
It clearly had not been pruned and taken care of for a while.
Dead branches kept showing up. Hopefully the tree can stay happy for the rest of the summer.
