Texas Trip Day 3

Meet Ty.

I didn't mention him yesterday. See this next picture? Can you guess the expression on his face?

 Yeah, that's guilt. Pure guilt.

Because when we were out he sneaked into our room and started feasting on the apple we had on the bed! But it's okay because he gave us something in return; lots and lots of little pellet-sized presents. It made me giggle.

Anyway. We found a donut shop and got some for our breakfast!

It was decided that we needed more Texas barbeque. So off we went!

The guy manning the meat.

Can you see how juicy the food is??

The sauce container was full aft the beginning of the meal.

The Gales live in the hill country, so Brittany and I took some pictures with the neighbors.

Then it was back to the river!

Texas Trip Day 2

We started out with the Gales in San Marcos. The day began with a trip to the outlets. The "largest outlets in the USA." Then Jeff and Brittany introduced us to Texas barbeque.

There isn't much I can add to the pictures. Let me know if you have any questions. And yes, we were quite full, and it was AMAZING.

To help the bbq digest....or something....we went to the river.

We went down the "rapids" several times, and actually got a video of it. However the blog, internet, and computer are not cooperating. Just envision us going down in a small train, and then getting thrust into the river! Actually, I was the only one who survived. Good thing Brittany had the camera's waterproof jacket on!

First full day in Texas was full of good food and adventure!

Texas Trip Day 1

We took a trip out to Texas. It was fabulous!

Day One:

We flew out from the Provo airport. On the way there, we decided we should try out the donuts at Provo Bakery. We heard good reviews, so we drove by. Unfortunately, they are not open on Mondays. Super. Unfortunate. Thankfully, that was not a precedent for our trip. The airport was really small and very laid back. (Sean only had to be reminded of a few rules while going through security.)

Boarding the plane at Provo Airport.

Isn't it a cute airport?

Ready for our first flight!

Love those mountains.

Denver Airport.

We saw lots of people during our layover.

Back on the plane!

First view of Texas.

Waiting to get off the plane. Can you tell it's been a day full of sitting?

Houston Airport.

Such friendly faces to pick us up! Hooray for the Gales!

Finding the route to find a Whataburger and get to their house.
