Scouts and Leaves

A few weekends ago, Sean had a camp out with his scouts. He promised he would take pictures to document the fun:

They left the city at 8pm, well after dark.

Campfire fun.

Sean's bed.

Not everyone had fun...

Meanwhile, I stayed home. I started watching Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, but it started spooking me out with all of the "secret" and "safe" - ness. I ended up watching Persuasion. Probably more suited for an evening without a husband.

In the morning, I had a buddy come over to help  me rake leaves!

There she is! And that was one of 4 piles we created.
A productive weekend!

Some Seatle Peeps

At the beginning of November, Justin, Jennifer, and Dylan flew into Salt Lake for a quick trip. Sean and I decided to take a quick trip up north to see them while they were close.

This picture was taken at the beginning of the trip. It was a good omen, meant to be a good trip!

I couldn't get enough of this little one! Look at that happy face!

It snowed, so there was some nice season-contrast to enjoy.

Adorable. The end.

It was a very short trip, but we enjoyed seeing family while we could.

Ah Nuts!

Some weeks ago, we discovered one of the trees in the back yard is a pecan tree! Cool yeah?
With leaves.
Without leaves.

We also met our neighbor. I call him Theodore. Sean calls him Teddy.

Our neighborhood crows also help pick the pecans for us. Super nice neighbors.

Who would have thought you could get so many nuts from a tree?? There is still a lot more too.
